Before Vandiyathevan could wonder who was inside it, a crimson braceleted hand emerged from within and pulled away the silken curtain of the planquin. The full moon covered with clouds and the cloud veil parted the moon shines brightly. And a woman’s face was visible on the palanquin as the moon shining brightly.
Although Vandiyathevan has eyes that delight in seeing the beauty of women. But he does not feel any joy in his heart when he sees the face of that woman.
At the same time, the woman’s eyes were staring close to Vandiyathevan. The next moment the planquin’s silk curtain closed like before.
Vandiyathevan looked towards his neighbourhood. His intuition told him that the witch had closed the screen after seeing something near him. So he looked around. He saw Azhwarkadiyan leaning on the tamarind tree a little behind him….
