South Indian healthy food
Most of the recipes of South Indian food is nutrition fullfilled. Almost all countries people like South Indian food. I would like to share one of my most favourite and healthy recipe..
Urad dal kazhi(கழி)
It is especially for women who are weak in backbone and irregular periods.
Receipe:
Ingredients
Urad dal - 1cup
Fenugreek-25gms
Raw rice - 25gms
Palm jaggery - 3 cups
Gingelly oil - 100 ml
Water - required amount
Method
- First soak urad dal, rice and Fenugreek atleast three hours in water.
- After three hours grind the soaked ingredients finely paste.(add water )
- Take a Pan add 3cups water and put palm jaggery. Keep it in the pan until fully jaggery dissolved in a water.
- Then add grind paste into the jaggery water.,(keep in low flame)
- Then mix well and cook the kazhi well.
- Finally our recipe is ready..
- Try to touch the kazhi with water smeared hand…It should not sticky in the hands..
- Now switch off the stove and rub ur hands with oil and take small amount of kazhi in hand and make it a small balls..
Note:The consistency of the food is not watery…lightly thick..but not too thick..Add gingelly oil in between for non sticky..
Tips to make a ball:
Take a small bowl and apply oil inside the bowl..put some kazhi into the bowl..and shake the bowl until it comes to a ball shape..😉
